About
Great web design should feel empowering, not overwhelming.
Hi, I’m Gillian!
I help small business owners and independent creatives build stunning, dynamic websites, without touching a single line of messy code.
I established IGH Creations with one simple goal: to make modern, custom-feel Squarespace designs accessible to everyone, no coding required. Every template and plugin is designed with a customer-first approach that makes your website build feel easy. Simple user-friendly functionality with a smooth setup and launch process that just works.
- IGH Creations is owned and operated by Gillian Dove.
My Story
My first venture into web design was back in the early 2000s. I’d spend my spare time tinkering with raw HTML code to build simple websites from scratch.
Eventually, life and family commitments took centre stage, and web design moved to the back burner. But that creative itch never went away. When I finally had the space to dive back in, the internet had transformed and Squarespace immediately captured my attention.
Its clean style and smooth setup make designing an absolute blast. Being self-taught, my favourite thing is taking a blank slate and shaping it into something sharp for modern brands.
To bring even more power to those layouts, I teamed up with talented developer friends to craft lightweight, reliable plugins that solve tricky design constraints and enhance user experience giving sites the appearance of polished custom coding without the hassle.
A quick peek behind the scenes.
Before any designing happens, my day begins with a quiet moment and a warm mug of hot water infused with a fresh bay leaf and a slice of lemon. No coffee or tea required, just a calm ritual before diving into the day’s creations.

What Keeps Me Going
The best part of this work is the moment a client sees their finished site come to life, seeing that genuine sigh of relief and sudden burst of excitement to share their business with the world.
If a feature isn’t simple to update or intuitive to use, it doesn’t make the cut. Every detail is created with real business owners in mind.
